A Family of Authors was concived as a result of Reginald Grant's leadership and vision. A vision to help the writers in his family evolved into an opportunity to colloborate with numerous other authors and industry professionals. After the completion of his second book all of the research and relationships he had developed evolved into A Family of Authors. A Publiching , Consulting , Author Marketing collective designed to help promote and elevate authors. The company now helps aspiring writiers, and industry professionals leverage the power of many. The pubilsing industry is rapidly changing and authors now have more control over the final product and publishing rights. A Family of Authors now works with authors to maximize profits and works with new writers entering the field. We host Summer Writing programs in partnership with P.O.W.E.R.S., Inc. for young kids in Los Angeles. We host writers workshops, How to Self Publish Workshops, Organize Events for Authors and Consult on various progects nationwide. Prior to entering education he was a businessman and professional athlete (New York Jets, NFL & Ottawa ,CFL) after graduation from the University of Oregon. He often speaks on Culturally Inclusive Curriculum, ESL, Mentoring and the Winners Mindset. His latest book is "Success Stories: Insights by African American Men" Released February 20, 2016. Additional books , “A Case for Bilingual Education. A Teacher’s View.” 2015., “A Teacher’s View. Education in America.” 2014, he has also written workbooks, poetry books and published numerous articles.
He has a Master’s in Education, Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). He has been a state of California Certificated English Teacher since 2002. In 2011 he served on the CASHEE – California State High School Exit Exam development/review panel for English. He is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others and sees education as the force for change. He is an alumni member of Sigma Tau Delta, International English Honor Society

He is currently on the board of directors for three non profits, NAAAA presenters of the “Watkins Award” for scholar athletes, Powers Women’s Network and the GCUMM, General Commission on United Methodist Men.

His youngest two daughters are published authors as well Rachel at age 11 and Naomi at age 9. His wife Treasure, a Financial Coach / Business Consultant is also a published author.
